Largest circle in the industry • 69-inch-diameter circle is the largest moldboard circle in the industry • Exterior-tooth design eliminates the packing problems common to most designs • Heavy-duty steel construction provides outstanding support, excellent balance • Moldboard rotates a full 360 degrees for easy changes to blade-cutting angle • Five-position moldboard saddle angles as high as 90 degrees for vertical slope work or ditch-cleaning The New Holland “involute” moldboard profile generates a curling, tube-like wave action that allows material to roll effortlessly down the face of the moldboard. Traditional-design moldboards allow material to build up and increase the weight that the grader must push—which requires more power, more fuel, and results in decreased speed. The “rollaway” action of the New Holland moldboard allows material to move faster and exit more efficiently, preventing build-up and reducing power and fuel demands. The standard five-position moldboard saddle angle-grades slopes and embankments. The frame assembly provides a full 25 inches of ground clearance. Tires lean up to 18 degrees for extra maneuverability. Two G170 models: fixed or variable power • Fixed power model provides steady 170 horsepower • Variable power G170 delivers 200 horsepower in gears 4-8 automatically when the machine can use it, and reduces to 170 horsepower in gears 1-3 to minimize wheel slip and conserve fuel
