	Insatiable chopping capacity If you have a lot to chop, FR Series self-propelled harvesters have a voracious appetite. These are the biggest choppers in the world, offering a new level of power, capacity and comfort. Five new models range from 424 to 824 horsepower—the most horsepower you’ll find anywhere for maximum capacity. The widest feedrolls and cutterhead in the industry are the start of the FR harvester’s enormous capacity. The new Variflow™ accelerator and crop processor propel crop at maximum efficiency through the harvester. The accelerator drops closer to the cutterhead when the crop processor is removed, closing the gap to improve crop flow and reduce power consumption. The change is easy and requires no tools, so you can make the switch from corn to grass in just a few minutes! Optional kernel processor uses ten-inch diameter rolls to process corn kernels while chopping to make feed more digestible and increase milk production. New higher horsepower engines and a simplified powertrain deliver maximum power using one main gearbox and fewer belts and driveshafts than previous systems. The FR Series cab is an extremely comfortable place to work with controls at your fingertips and nothing to block your view. Four-speed electronic-shift transmission allows you to easily choose the best gear for working conditions. Hydrostatic ground drive provides a fast top transport speed—23 mph—as well as the precise control, flexibility and maneuverability needed for harvesting operations. The new Metaloc™ metal detection system not only stops the feedrolls before damage occurs, it also isolates the location of the metal within the system so you can easily remove it. The Intelliview™ monitor shows you which part of the machine harbors the metal so you can be back on your way fast. A 13-inch wide spout and 210 degrees of spout rotation allow for fast, precise crop discharge. Programmable spout position buttons make chopping from left to right easy. Plus, one push of the return-to-home button automatically sends the spout back to its rest. Expanded tire options include 1050/50R32 flotation tires for soft conditions or 20.8R42 duals for maximum stability in hilly conditions.

	Best in high capacity and chop quality When it comes to rugged, high-capacity forage harvesters, no one builds them like New Holland. That's why New Holland continues to offer America's best-selling forage line. Choose from three models: • Model 790: designed for use with a maximum tractor PTO hp of 150. 540- or 1,000-rpm drivelines are available. • Model FP230: designed for use with a maximum tractor PTO hp of 225 and has a 1,000 rpm driveline. • High-capacity model FP240: designed for use with a maximum tractor PTO hp of 300 and has a 1,000-rpm driveline. Larger throat size and wider cutterhead allow top capacity. Rugged 12-knife cutterhead efficiently produces a uniform chop without a recutter screen for faster harvesting. Optional recutter screens produce an even finer chop. Reversing gearbox lets you easily clear feedrolls and attachments of heavy slugs. Standard electric remote controls for spout, feedrolls and attachment drives let you control all operations right from the tractor seat. Knife-sharpening and shearbar adjustment are quick and easy with all new heavy-duty ball bearing rollers and a larger-diameter sharpening stone (models FP230 and FP240). Shearbar is hardened on both top and side for even wearing and extra-long life, and is reversible for extra life. Flip-up feedrolls allow you to routinely inspect the shearbar and smooth roll scraper. Upper feedroll shearbolt protects the feedroll drive system in case of overload and can be raised without removing the crophead. Lightweight, hinged shielding lifts easily for fast inspection, adjustment and lubrication of internal components. Built-in toolbox lets you carry necessary adjustment tools in the field. Electric clutch offers immediate response and positive control of reversing gearbox. Cast ring design allows easier spout rotation in adverse conditions. Quick shift two-speed blower saves a tractor gear in easy-to-blow crops (Model 790). Fast 1,000-rpm blower moves crop quickly for increased productivity (models FP230 and FP240). Driveline is protected so there's less damage to drive components if a foreign object hits the cutterhead. A shearbolt provides added protection. Optional Metalert® III electronic metal detector avoids costly cutterhead damage and protects your livestock from hardware disease. Optional onboard CropPro™ Crop Processor improves corn silage feed efficiency, makes feed more digestible and helps increase milk production. It saves time and chops and processes corn silage in one operation. Easy-to-remove single baffle lets you quickly change from corn silage to haylage. All New Holland crop processors are factory installed to maintain consistent, top-quality performance. Optional spout extensions offer added reach for loading into high wagons or trucks.
